FatCats Grand opening draws several hundred visitors

Posted

The FatCats grand opening weekend starting April 16 drew as many as 700 visitors.

The theater and entertainment center is at 20660 E. Riggs Road in Queen Creek.

In a press release, the Utah-based company, stated its “commitment to the town of Queen Creek is to be ‘better for having been at FatCats.’ We expect those who work here to leave better individuals than when they started. We also hope that our guests feel better for having spent time with us.”

The Queen Creek location is the ninth in four states.

The Queen Creek location is 61,000 square feet with eight luxury theaters featuring first-run films. One of the facility's main attractions is bowling. It has 20 lanes of bowling, and in the evening, the lanes are transformed into “Thunder Alley,” a high-energy, bowl-for-fun experience complete with a live DJ and game host.

FatCats Queen Creek also has a state-of-the-art arcade with more than 50 games for all ages. It also includes a space-themed, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, as well as three bays of virtual reality where patrons can play.

FatCats Queen Creek offers food such as handmade pizzas, gourmet burgers, sliders, salads, sandwiches and more, with food delivery available in its theaters.
