Celebrate Mother’s Day at Vintage & Vino in Queen Creek

Posted

Vintage & Vino's annual Spring Mother's Day Market is back for its 10th year in Queen Creek this weekend and is offering wine and shopping.

Along with sipping and shopping, moms can take classes,  win prizes, make a craft with kids, get pampered, grab some photos and more.

Over the years, the three-day event has grown from a modest gathering of 30 vendors to a showcase of more than 100 small businesses, becoming one of the longest-running markets in the East Valley.

The event runs from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday at the Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre, 20464 E. Riggs Road.

On Friday night, nurses, public safety, teachers and military only pay $2 for general admission. On Saturday, the first 15 moms get free coffee from The Exchange and on Sunday, the first 50 moms get in free.

Starting  with just a handful of vendors, Vintage & Vino has become a spring and fall event that supports local artisans, winemakers and small businesses.

“We’ve seen incredible growth over the past decade, from barely filling a quarter of the arena to now hosting over 100 vendors, introducing four wine tasting booths, commemorative glasses, and an array of attractions like photo booths, kids’ crafts, live music, and our signature Bucket Mimosas,” said one of the organizers  Tiffany Shultz.

And that success has proven to be a reflection of the growth in Queen Creek.

“We’ve been a part of Queen Creek’s transformation from a very small town in the East Valley to one of the fastest-growing communities in the country,” Shultz said. “Supporting small businesses and giving back through charity has always been at the heart of what we do.”
