Starting Monday, Nov. 4, J.O. Combs Unified School District will host a Thanksgiving food drive to collect assorted items to help provide food boxes for those in need throughout the community. All seven schools, in addition to the district office, will serve as donation sites for the public to drop off items, according to a release. more

Ellsworth Elementary PTO  is conducting a shoe-drive fundraiser Oct. 21-Dec. 20 to raise funds for additional playground equipment. Ellsworth Elementary PTO will earn funds based on the total weight of the pairs of gently worn, used and new shoes collected, as Funds2Orgs will issue a check for the collected shoes.
