It is a season of stars in Arizona Interscholastic Association boys basketball.
O’Connor senior Colton Watson is in the shadows of the Sunnyslope, Millennium and St. Mary’s stars. He and his Eagles teammates are waiting for a chance in the spotlight when the playoffs start next week.
Watson is a foundational piece for this northwest Phoenix program’s rise. And instead of wanting the star treatment as a senior, Watson continues doing a bit of everything for the 17-8 Eagles, ranked #4 in the state with a 14-3 regular season record.
