For years, the Encanto Pickleballers have made the Encanto Sports Complex their own. Now, it’s official.
It’s not just about playing at the sports complex for the group, it’s about taking care of it. Volunteers have helped keep the facilities clean, as well as raised funds to purchase new benches, a pickleball recycle station and higher quality netting. They also designed and painted a mural on the court walls.
On Friday, Oct. 2, the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department presented the Encanto Pickleballers with an official adoption certificate of the Encanto Sports Complex.
