Supporting Local Communities is a Privilege We Cherish

As businesses grow within the communities they serve, they gain more than customers and an inherent responsibility to give back. At Trulieve, we view the opportunity to support local communities as a privilege. Our commitment to partnering with organizations across the state is a core part of who we are. For us, supporting the communities we serve isn't a marketing tactic or a seasonal gesture; it is a fundamental way we show up for the people who call Arizona home.

Seniors and veterans are two specific groups who have shaped our state and country in profound ways, and we’re proud to support those in need. Veterans have stood on the front lines defending our freedoms, and seniors have spent decades contributing to our communities, industries and families. Supporting them is not charity, it’s gratitude in action.

This November, we were proud to host a register roundup campaign benefiting Disabled American Veterans (DAV), a nonprofit dedicated to empowering veterans to live high-quality lives with dignity and respect. Every customer who chose to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar played a direct role in supporting DAV. A few cents at a time, we can collectively help veterans access resources and care.

Our November canned food drive supported VFW Post 720 and the new Veterans Services Center, along with the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System Patriot Pantry, ensuring Arizona veterans and their families have access to nutritious meals and essential household staples.

As we move into December, our focus turns to seniors across the state. Our month-long register roundup will support the United Food Bank and St. Mary’s Food Bank, providing vital resources to older Arizonans who may struggle with food insecurity. In addition, our dispensaries will collect socks and blankets -- simple but important items that bring warmth and comfort during the winter months. These donations will be delivered to the Sunnyslope Senior Community Center in Phoenix and the El Pueblo Activity Center and Senior Center in Tucson.

In times when many face economic uncertainty, isolation or instability, businesses have an opportunity to step up. At Trulieve, we’re proud to support veterans and seniors who have given so much to our country. Strong communities are built when everyone invests in them, and we’re committed to doing our part.
