Search on for driver in fatal Phoenix hit-and-run

Phoenix police detectives are looking for the driver of a car involved in a fatal hit-and-run earlier this week.

Alexander Davenport, 33, died at a hospital following the collision that occurred about 10:35 p.m. April 3 near 26th Street and Camelback Road, police said.

Initial information indicates Davenport was riding an E-scooter crossing Camelback Road when he was hit.

Any information about the suspect can be provided to Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. All tips will remain anonymous, and a $2,000 dollar reward is available for information leading to an arrest, police said.
