Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport plans to hire taxicab company to address shortage

A year ago, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport was struggling to hire as many taxis companies as it wanted. It is now filling that gap.

“Ensuring the travelling public has different options and services is important, and the taxicab industry is a major piece of those offerings,” Deputy Aviation Director Mike O’Shaughnessy told the Phoenix Aviation Business and Development Subcommittee on Thursday.
