Phoenix PD identifies West Windsor homicide victim

A 50-year-old man died May 19 after being stabbed at a home in the West Valley, Phoenix police said.
The victim has been identified as Jose Virgil Deleon, and a woman has been arrested in what police said was a domestic dispute.
At about 12:10 p.m. May 19, police were called to a home near 5200 West Windsor Avenue for a report of a person who had been stabbed. A woman identified as 52-year-old Esperanza Bautista Valencia called 911 stating she had stabbed her boyfriend, according to a release from the Phoenix Police Department.
Officers arrived and found the victim in the driveway with multiple stab wounds. He was dead.
Bautista Valencia was taken into custody, police said. She was booked on homicide charges.
