Phoenix life plan community appoints new healthcare administrator

Sagewood, a life plan community in Phoenix, has appointed Misti Valentino as healthcare administrator for the Acacia Health Center.
Valentino is responsible for the daily oversight of the center, which offers skilled nursing services, assisted living, memory care and rehabilitative therapy for residents in Sagewood as well as to the public, according to a release.
“With over 16 years of senior living experience, Misti makes for an amazing new leader in Acacia Health Center,” Ed Smith, Sagewood executive director, said. “We know her knowledge and friendly disposition will serve our residents and staff well.”

Valentino earned a Bachelor of Healthcare Administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and went on to achieve a Master of Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University with emphasis in leadership, the release stated.
