Phoenix District 2 council race in dead heat, per early results

The race for Phoenix District 2 City Council Representative will almost certainly head to a runoff. The question remains which two of the three candidates will be in the runoff.

The three candidates in the race are neck-and-neck, separated by less than 2.5%.

Danny Mazza leads with 34.2% (13,306 votes), followed by Julie Read with 33.8% (13,157 votes) and Matt Evans with 32% (12,423 votes).
