Phoenix Deputy City Manager Amber Williamson plans to retire within a few months.

City Councilmember Debra Stark made that announcement during Wednesday’s Transportation, Infrastructure and Planning Subcommittee. Stark said it was the last time Williamson would appear before the subcommittee.

“It has been a pleasure that you’ve been our lead staff,” Stark said to Williamson. “We’re going to miss you … you have done tremendous work for the city, and we really do appreciate you.”
