A 20-year-old man was killed in a shots-fired incident in south Phoenix on Saturday evening, Phoenix Police said in a news release on Monday.
According to the release, at approximately 10 p.m. Sept. 12, officers responded to a shots-fired call in the area of 4600 S. 19th St.
Officers found a vehicle in the road surrounded by multiple shell casings. Shortly afterward, two women approached officers and reported they had been robbed by several unidentified men. A male victim was with the women at the time of the robbery but left prior to officers arriving on scene. Officers impounded the involved vehicle and completed a robbery report.
