The Phoenix Fire Department will host the grand opening of Fire Station 62 with a special open house event on Saturday, Jan. 25, the department announced in a news release.
This community celebration will offer a chance for residents to explore the state-of-the-art facility and meet the dedicated firefighters who serve them.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. with speeches from city leaders, including Mayor Kate Gallego, city council members, Fire Chief Mike Duran, representatives from the fire union and construction partners who helped bring the new station to life.
