Lasting Impressions, 4454 E Thomas Rd, Phoenix, is a family business co-owned by Mark Jacobson and his brother-in-law, Frank Scarcello. Jacobson’s brother, Brian Jacobson and Frank, started the company about 23 years ago.
Being family-owned matters, said Karen Kendall, the general manager at Lasting Impressions.
Kendall has worked for the company since 2017 and has lived in Arizona since 1987.
Before Lasting Impressions, Kendall worked at Andersen Corp. for 24 years, an international window and door enterprise with its home base located in Minnesota.
Being locally and family owned, Lasting Impressions brings compassion and understanding to homeowners and their goals, Kendall explained.
“I try to help customers as if it were me needing help,” Kendall said.
Although locally owned, Lasting Impressions uses and services high-quality products, such as Andersen and Milgard Windows and Doors. Both manufacturers offer a wide range of durable materials.
“It’s not the Bentley of product, but it’s every bit of Mercedes sort of price point and quality wise,” Kendall said.
Kendall enjoys bringing homeowners’ visions to life, whether that be opening a room with multi-slide doors up to 20ft or creating a unique window feature, she helps homeowners build their houses’ “wow” factor.
“I’ve been doing this for a very long time. But it’s so fun to help people get their dream homes, and have everything be exactly how they want it and not have to worry about it again,” Kendall said, emphasizing how she finds her work fulfilling.
Lasting Impressions prides itself on getting a job done, even when it presents itself with challenges.
“We never walk away from a problem,” Kendall said, even if they discover deeper issues in the home, like termites or rotted wood. “We’ll figure it out and fix it.” To learn more about Lasting Impressions, visit liwindow.com
