Nearly 14,000 children in Arizona are looking for families. They’re looking for a safe place where they can work on homework, play games, share laughs, and create memories.
They’re looking for people just like you.
Unfortunately there just aren’t enough foster homes to keep up with the number of children in care. With so few families able to provide care, children are left to live in non-family settings such as group homes. While their day-to-day needs are met, these children are missing out on building strong relationships with caring adults who want to be a part of their lives.
Children who are living in family settings feel more confident, do better at school, set and achieve goals for the future, and are less likely to succumb to peer pressure compared to their peers living in non-family settings.
Register for an interactive, virtual information session and get all your questions about foster care and adoption answered and join AASK in our mission of providing children in foster care supportive homes with caring adults.
All it takes to make a difference is you.
