Celebrating Miracle Mile’s 75th Anniversary
Miracle Mile Deli is celebrating its 75th year of serving the Valley of the Sun this year. The Miracle Mile family is beyond grateful for the local community’s support over the past 7 decades and excited to celebrate their 75th Anniversary in 2024 with a variety of different specials that we will be showcasing throughout the entire year, so stay tuned.
When Miracle Mile was founded by Brooklyn, New York native, Jack Grodzinsky in 1949, he never imagined that Miracle Mile would eventually become one of Phoenix’s most classic dining institutions. Generations of families have come to Miracle Mile to share delicious meals in our casual and welcoming dining atmosphere.
The family establishment has been owned and operated by three generations of the Grodzinsky/Garcia Family over the last seven decades and continues to draw hundreds of customers each day. People still remember founders, Jack & Eleanor, behind the counter serving sandwiches and introducing New York delicacies to Valley residents. George & Jill Garcia spent endless hours serving customers at the Chris-Town Mall location in the 1980s, then expanded the brand to Arrowhead Towne Center, Camelback Colonnade, Scottsdale Promenade, and now in Central Phoenix at 16th Street & Campbell, where the newest Miracle Mile, operated by their son, Josh, has stood proudly since 2015.
Customers have become accustomed to enjoying Miracle Mile’s signature New York style popular sandwiches such as “The Straw,” “The New Yorker,” and “The Triple Decker." Miracle Mile’s extensive menu of not only sandwiches but also salads, comfort food favorites, burgers, beer on tap and even kids’ meals always has something to appeal to everyone, along with top-notch customer service.
