Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego spoke for the need for reform around data centers in the most recent Phoenix City Council meeting.

She referenced a recent article calling Phoenix a “mecca for data centers.”

“That’s not the word I would have chosen, and it’s not our goal. We’ve been working very hard on reforms,” Gallego said during the July 1 meeting.
