Man sentenced for killing one, injuring three other homeless individuals in Phoenix

Mahrion Alexio Mendonca pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder and three counts of aggravated assault with serious physical injury.

A 28-year-old man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for his attack on four homeless individuals in Phoenix, killing one of them, Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said in a news release on Tuesday.

Mahrion Alexio Mendonca pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder and three counts of aggravated assault with serious physical injury.
