A 38-year-old man had died from his injuries suffered in a vehicle/pedestrian collision Aug. 12 in south Phoenix, Phoenix Police said Wednesday in a release.
According to the release, at approximately 8 p.m. Aug. 12, Phoenix Police responded to multiple reports of a vehicle/pedestrian collision near 7th Avenue and Baseline Road.
Upon arrival, officers located the driver of the vehicle, who had remained on scene. Phoenix Fire personnel transported the pedestrian to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was identified as Peter Griffin.
