Kids under 12 get free dental care on April 6

Posted

Valley kids can get free dental care next month.

Risas Kids Dental along with sponsor Molina Healthcare, will help families in the community receive important dental care by hosting a Kids Day event. On Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., dentists will provide free exams for children under 12, according to a press release.

The office is located at 3542 W. Camelback Rd, Phoenix.

"The Risas Kids Dental team will be available to consult with parents to provide them with valuable information about the importance of dental health and answer questions and concerns regarding their children’s overall oral health," the press release stated. "No registration is required to attend. All essential X-rays for children under 12 are at no additional cost if determined necessary by a doctor."

Attendees under the age of 12 will be entered to "win a free gaming console and a free braces" giveaway, the press release stated.

Winners will be notified on Monday, April 8.

“Dental care plays a crucial role in every child’s overall health,” said Dr. Elizabeth Walton, clinical director of pediatrics at Risas Kids Dental in the press release. “Though visiting the dentist may appear daunting to some, nurturing healthy habits and routines early on can alleviate these fears, paving the way for a positive and enduring experience.”
