OPINION — I live near Surprise. I shop, dine out, take visitors to baseball games and enjoy the arts in Surprise.

I am disappointed that Surprise would host a concentration camp (the proposed regional U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement intake and processing facility that is coming to Surprise.

I am discouraged at the apathy of my neighbors.
