CEO Brian Carlisle praised Maurer’s leadership and compassion, calling her “a driving force in keeping Horizon’s culture strong, supportive, and aligned with our mission to bring hope and healing to teens and families.”
Maurer’s background spans marketing, admissions, outreach, and direct care. A Certified Nursing Assistant and Behavioral Paraprofessional, she is known for bridging the gap between staff experience and client outcomes to create positive environments for both employees and families.
Beyond her work at Horizon Recovery, Maurer serves on the board of Owl Love You Forever, a nonprofit supporting families through pregnancy and infant loss, and volunteers with Hope & A Future, which mentors youth in foster care.
A Phoenix native and third-generation Arizonan, Maurer also owns Remember Me Photos, a portrait business focused on connection and healing.
