Special to Independent Newsmedia
Grammy Award-winning R&B superstar Lucky Daye will bring his summer tour to Phoenix.
Also, his forthcoming album “Algorithm” is due out in June via Keep Cool/RCA Records. “HERicane” is the first new music from Lucky in 2024, following the release of his single “That’s You,” co-written and co-produced by 16-time Grammy winning artist Bruno Mars.
To coincide with the new album, The Algorithm Tour kicks off in July and will visit The Van Buren on Saturday, Aug. 24.
He will also perform at the likes of Radio City Music Hall in New York City, The Greek in Los Angeles, and the Ryman in Nashville. The tour will include support from opener Fana Hues.
Lucky has earned 11 Grammy nominations in his career, and won a Grammy for Best Progressive R&B Album for his 2021 EP “Table for Two.”
Developing his singing and songwriting early in life in his hometown of New Orleans, he was displaced by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina and he moved to Atlanta for a brief stint and eventually ventured to Los Angeles to pursue his music dreams. Lucky landed at his label home, Keep Cool, in partnership with RCA Records.
In 2022, Lucky Daye received five nominations at the 65th annual Grammy Awards.
