The works of Chris Vena will be featured at GateWay Community College’s Washington Campus with an unveiling scheduled for Thursday.

GateWay Community College's Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Art Gallery will be the host for the event 4-7 p.m. March 21 at the campus, 108 N. 40th St., Phoenix.

GateWay accepted Vena’s art exhibition proposal after an open call and collecting opinions from students, according to a release.

Vena is an award-winning artist and educator with a national and international exhibition record spanning 20 years, the release stated.

Most recently, Vena exhibited his work at Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati. In 2022, he was honored with the Phoenix Art Museum's Sally and Richard Lehmann Emerging Artist Award, which included an exhibition of his work.

Click here to register for Chris Vena’s Art Gallery Exhibition. Due to the event's anticipated demand and limited space, registration will be limited to four tickets per group. For additional tickets, contact the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion office at dei@gatewaycc.edu.
