INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
A family fight Monday left one brother dead and a second on the run, Phoenix police said.
Officers responded about 2:30 a.m. April 1 to a stabbing call at 1802 W. Maryland Ave. They found Tahj McGilberry, 34, outside an apartment with at least one stab wound.
He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead, according to a release.
Detectives assumed the investigation and based on the details they said Jimmy McGilberry is suspected of stabbing his brother, Tahj McGilberry, during a fight inside the apartment.
Phoenix police homicide detectives are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jimmy McGilberry to contact the Phoenix Police Department or to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip.
Rewards will be paid for information, that is given through Silent Witness, leading to an arrest, police said.
