D-back defense: Four Diamondbacks are finalists for Gold Glove awards

The Diamondbacks flashed the leather on the diamond this year, and for some of them, it could result in an addition to their trophy case.

Four D-backs are finalists for National League Gold Glove awards this season, MLB announced Wednesday. Catcher Gabriel Moreno, shortstop Geraldo Perdomo, right fielder Corbin Carroll and utility player Ildemaro Vargas are each one of three finalists for the awards, which will be announced on Sunday, Nov. 1.

Moreno is the only won who has won the award before, in 2023.
