Former ASU director joins Phoenix at convention center

Sarah Field has been named a deputy responsible for the sales and marketing division at the Phoenix Convention Center & Venues.

Field will lead the sales, marketing, ticketing and guest experience sections within the division, according to a city release. She had been working at Arizona State University as the director of corporate relations in the Office of Economic Development.

Prior to joining ASU, Field spent more than 11 years at the Phoenix Convention Center, where she served as the director of sales for more than four years .

“We could not be more pleased that Sarah is returning to the Phoenix Convention Center in this new capacity,” Director Jerry Harper said. “With her past experience at the Convention Center and her vision for the future, we know she will continue to bolster an already thriving division.”

Field has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from ASU.
