Scottsdale unified bond is a need, not a want

OPINION — I'm voting yes on the Scottsdale Unified School District bond, and I hope you'll join me.

Through my work on SUSD's Spark Committee, I've seen how much our district is planning for the future — new programs, stronger partnerships, a real vision for Scottsdale schools. But none of that works if the buildings fall behind. Many high schools haven't seen major capital investment since 2008. Nearly 20 years of wear doesn't go away — it just gets pricier to fix.
