SCOTTSDALE — After a two-week hiatus from play due to lack of numbers, the Saguaro Sabercats were back in action on Friday night for the school’s 60th homecoming celebration. Saguaro hosted Mountain Ridge.
The Mountain Lions walked away with a 45-6 victory on the night. to run their winning streak to three games.
For some of the staff at Mountain Ridge (3-1), the game brought back mixed feelings, as they used to be on staff at Saguaro previously, including the Sabercats' 2021 Open Division champions.
