OPINION — Great schools don’t just educate our children, they help build great cities. In Scottsdale, the strength and reputation of our schools are an important part of what makes our city such a desirable place to live. Keeping our schools highly rated and competitive helps attract families and businesses, strengthens our neighborhoods, and supports the property values Scottsdale homeowners have worked hard to build.
That is why I am proud to endorse Dr. Jennifer Johnson for the Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board.
Jennifer understands something I believe strongly as a former member of the Scottsdale City Council: our schools and our city are partners in the health and success of our community.
