Paradise Valley Chief of Police Freeman Carney administered the oath of office to the town’s newest Officer Ruben Nava March 27.
With over a decade of service at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in California, Nava comes to the town with a wealth of experience, notably as a threat liaison officer and in cyber crimes, according to the Town Manager’s Weekly Update.
Joined by his family and community, Nava accepted his badge, pinned by his wife, ready to serve with honor. The Town Manager’s Office extends a warme welcome to Officer Nava, now a valued member of the law enforcement family.
