The Town of Paradise Valley has announced the hiring of two new police department employees.
Debra Fajardo joins the communications team as a dispatcher, bringing with her 26 years of dispatching experience with the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Fajardo is married and loves spending time with her family. When she is not at home, she enjoys clogging and playing Bingo.
Amanda Jeffs has joined the Criminal Investigations Unit team as evidence custodian. Jeffs comes from the Coconino County Sheriff's Office by way of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, where she worked as both an evidence technician and crime scene investigator for several years.
Jeffs enjoys teaching crime scene preservation classes to community and high school students. She and her husband moved to the Valley from Flagstaff and she enjoys decorating her new home, playing with her puppy, cheering on her favorite sports team and going on hikes.
Fajardo and Jeffs went through their orientations last week.
