Paradise Valley Mayor Mark Stanton met with residents over coffee and pastries to answer questions, discuss town issues and talk about the Oct. 8 Town Council meeting, with much of the conversation focused on Proposition 426, a measure asking voters to increase the town’s legal spending limit.
The proposition will appear on the Nov. 3 ballot for Paradise Valley voters. If approved, Proposition 426 would permanently increase Paradise Valley’s legal spending limit by an amount equivalent to about $20 million under current dollar values.
“Coffee with the mayor is something we do to just open up a dialogue,” Stanton said. “There’s no action, it’s not a formal meeting.”
