Martin Galbut stands by an easel holding his latest landscape picturing the Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix in his home studio on Wednesday, Sept. 16, in Paradise Valley.
Paradise Valley resident Martin Galbut will unveil his artist in residence exhibit 5-7:30 p.m. Oct. 13 at Paradise Valley Town Hall, 6401 E. Lincoln Drive.
The free public opening will feature six Phoenix Symphony members, along with appearances and surprises from the Japanese Friendship Garden and Scottsdale Artists’ School, according to Galbut.
Galbut’s artwork will remain on display at Town Hall for one year.
The town’s artist in residence program, selected by the Paradise Valley Arts Board, gives local artists who live in town an opportunity to showcase their work.
