Scottsdale resident Leigh Harris-Avril, a private duty certified nursing assistant at the Perfect Companion, has been serving seniors in the Paradise Valley area for more than 10 years after she saw the impact senior caregivers can make for patients and their families.
The Perfect Companion provides in-home senior care services, including companionship, personal care and specialized support for older adults in the Valley.
When Harris-Avril’s own mother suffered a stroke and started showing signs of vascular dementia, she needed help with everyday tasks, she said.
