PHOENIX — The Arizona Interscholastic Association has announced it is considering adopting MaxPreps National Football Rankings for this upcoming tackle football season.
In an email sent out to statewide media Thursday, Aug. 6, the AIA said a recommendation will be made to the Executive Board on Aug. 10 to adopt the MaxPreps ranking system. Previously, the AIA said they ran into problems generating rankings in time for playoff deadlines, but because of enhancements made by MaxPreps, it’s no longer an issue.
