2024’s top five home sales in Paradise Valley

Demand will always be robust for the most luxurious custom homes in a town such as Paradise Valley.

At the helm, Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty has connected buyers and sellers for five of Paradise Valley’s biggest sales of 2024, according to a press release.

So far in 2024, the highest selling home in Paradise Valley is at 7835 N. Ironwood Drive. Featuring six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and covering 10,676 square feet, it recently sold for $14 million with Russ Lyon Sotheby’s agent Cheryl Anderson bringing and representing the buyer.

An iconic Arizona estate reborn for the modern world, this timeless Spanish revival sits on about 3.5 private acres, the release stated. Every detail has been updated, including new Albertini steel windows and doors and Loewen vertical grain fir wood windows, the main kitchen with a larger island, cabinets and Thermador appliances, a kitchen added to the interior with views of Mummy Mountain, and a new antique stone fireplace surrounding the living room, kitchen and primary bath.

Next is the estate at 6126 E. Joshua Tree Lane, which recently sold for $13.3 million with Russ Lyon Sotheby’s agents Joe Bushong and Grant Almquist representing the seller. Spanning 8,507 square feet with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, this new masterpiece of architecture and design is tucked into a private cul-de-sac with unobstructed views of Mummy and Camelback mountains.

The estate features open living areas that flow seamlessly from indoors to outdoors, the release stated. The home at 6201 N. Yucca Road sold for $12.495 million with Russ Lyon Sotheby’s agent Virginia Gee representing the seller. Featuring six bedrooms and seven bathrooms in its 7,336-square-feet of space, it’s crafted as a custom home rather than as a spec. There is also an office, theater and wellness room, making it a place to entertain friends and family.

The floor plan captures the essence of easy Arizona living and maximizes the view of Camelback Mountain in all of the major rooms, the release stated. The home at 5540 N. Casa Blanca Drive recently sold for $11 million with Russ Lyon Sotheby’s agent Cionne McCarthy representing the buyer. Stretching over 6,691 square feet and featuring four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, it is nestled in Cameldale Estates, one of the most coveted locations in Paradise Valley.

This custom contemporary residence is about class, refinement and serenity with views of manicured landscapes and the surrounding mountains. Every detail is a testament to the craftsmanship and vision of architect CP Drewett and builder Bedbrock Development, according to the release.

Last is the home at 5501 E. San Miguel Avenue that sold for $7 million. Russ Lyon Sotheby’s agent Cheryl D’Anna represented the seller and agent Virginia Gee represented the buyer for this home, which is 6,479 square feet and features five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

Perched high on the side of Camelback Mountain, nestled below Praying Monk and surrounded by 1.78 acres, this home offers unmatched views of city lights, sunsets and mountain silhouettes, the release stated. The modern design’s pocketing walls of glass combine indoor and outdoor living. The spacious kitchen has a 24-inch waterfall island, complete with sit-up bar. Notable features of this home include an elevator, two powder rooms, a pool bath, lower-level game room, dedicated office or fifth bedroom, and a three-car tandem garage.
