The city’s annual Oktoberfest fall event had a record attendance of 1,500 people last fall.

Pre-sale tickets for the Saturday, Oct. 5 event on the Wigwam’s lawn sold out before the city had even begun to advertise for the event. Other tickets were sold at the door, but those also sold out. The Wigwam allowed city staff to open the gates to add capacity to the event and sell more tickets, bringing the total to the record 1,500.
