Heritage Center to mark 25 years, receive $161,000 gift from Sun Health

The P.W. Litchfield Heritage Center will celebrate its 25th anniversary Sept. 27 with an event featuring the presentation of a $161,000 gift from Sun Health.

The celebration is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Heritage Center, 13912 W. Camelback Road. Representatives from Litchfield Park, Goodyear, Avondale and Tolleson are expected to attend, along with Sun Health leaders, Heritage Center board members and Executive Director Lisa Hegarty.

The anniversary event will look back on the center’s work in the Southwest Valley and pay tribute to the Litchfield-Denny legacy.

Organizers also plan to discuss the center’s future, including the new facility on the Rancho La Loma hilltop.
