Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers will open its sixth and largest cancer treatment facility Sept. 17 at 1710 N. 159th Ave.
The grand opening will include an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony from 5 to 7 p.m., offering the community a chance to tour the facility, meet the health care team and learn about the treatment options available.
“We are excited to expand our services and bring cutting-edge cancer care to the Goodyear community. Our new facility is designed to provide a comfortable and healing environment for our patients, and we are committed to offering academic cancer care to the Goodyear community,” said Pat Hansen, vice president of operations at Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers.
The new center will provide radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and imaging services, along with care options such as nutritional and genetic counseling, patient support groups, and a dedicated women’s center. It will feature a clinical research department offering access to the latest clinical trials and treatments.
“We are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families. This new location allows us to reach more individuals in need of our services and support them through their cancer journey,” said Dr. Joseph Nabong of Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers .
The public is invited to attend the grand opening and learn more about the cancer care services available at the new Goodyear facility.
