The West Valley Arts Council invites artists to submit 2D and 3D artwork for consideration for the upcoming exhibition “This Is Family.”

The exhibition will take place at the Arts HQ Gallery in Surprise, 16126 N. Civic Center Plaza, and be focused on examining the thought and depth behind the meaning of family.

“This is Family” will present diverse viewpoints, personal experience, and new perspectives that invite viewers into conversations that may offer a more extensive definition of the topic.

Questions to consider when submitting artwork are as follows:

  • What does family mean to you?
  • What does family look like for you?
  • What are important elements/values for a family structure?

This opportunity is open to professional artists age 18 and older living in Arizona.

The submission deadline is Friday, April 30. The opening reception for the exhibition is Saturday, June 3.

No submission fee required and up to three entries are allied per submission.
