ADHS reports 73 new weekly coronavirus cases in Goodyear

The Arizona Department of Health Services reported 73 new coronavirus cases in Goodyear’s 85338 and 85395 ZIP codes over the week ending Friday, June 25, 25 more than the 48 new weekly cases reported last Friday.

That brings the overall tally of cases in Goodyear to 11,871.

Vaccinations

Each week, the county updates the number of residents vaccinated, and the percentage of residents vaccinated by ZIP code at maricopa.gov/5671/Public-Vaccine-Data.

As of June 22, Maricopa County health officials reported that 45% of all county residents and 52% of county residents 10 and older had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the website, 3,693,421 vaccine doses had been administered to Maricopa County residents. Of those, 1,890,250 were first dose, 1,772,522 were second dose and 30,649 were unknown.

In Goodyear 85395, 63.1% of the eligible population had received their first dose and 56.6% had received their second dose.
