The Elizabeth Dole Foundation Hidden Heroes program and Operation Gratitude are teaming up with Skyway Church in Goodyear to serve a drive-thru breakfast on Veterans Day to those who served in the U.S. military.

Veterans from any era can visit the church 14900 W. Van Buren St., from 7 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11 to receive breakfast to go, a care package from Operation Gratitude and other gifts from community and military organizations.

They also can connect with resources for veterans in the Valley if needed.

“We will also be appreciating spouses and caregivers to these veterans which are so often left out,” said breakfast organizer Bree Shields, the Arizona representative for Hidden Heroes.
