Agua Fria Union High School District students who want to showcase their science, technology, engineering and mathematics skills while competing for scholarships up to $1,000 and other prizes, can sign up now for STEMCon X.
Because of COVID-19 safety concerns, the competition scheduled for Monday through Friday, Feb. 22 to 26, will be held virtually.
Students may visit bit.ly/stemcon for more information and to sign up. They have until Friday, Feb. 12 to submit their projects.
The competition was created to get students excited about STEM fields, expose them to opportunities available in each of the four fields and to recognize them for their work.
In addition to the competition, STEMCon X will feature inquiry presentations, Quiz Bowl, class-based events led by teachers and more.
