The Arizona Department of Health Services reported the number of new coronavirus cases in Goodyear’s 85338 and 85395 ZIP codes was 63 over the week ending Friday, April 30. That's 18 more new weekly cases than were reported last week.
That brings the total number of cases reported in the two ZIP codes to 11,430.
The agency said more than 90% of cases were mapped to the address of the patient’s residence:

Each Wednesday, the county updates the number of residents vaccinated, and the percentage of residents vaccinated by ZIP code at maricopa.gov/5671/Public-Vaccine-Data.
As of April 28, Maricopa County health officials reported that nearly 1.3 million county residents, 29%, had completed their COVID-19 vaccine series and were considered fully vaccinated.
According to the website, 2,832,292 vaccine doses had been administered in Maricopa County. Of those, 1,562,718 were first dose, 1,253,150 were second dose and 16,424 were unknown.
In Goodyear 85395, 63.2% of the eligible population had received their first dose and 51.2% had received their second dose. In Goodyear 85338, 53.4% of the eligible population had received their first dose and 40.4% had received their second dose.

As of April 30, the state reported the following in Maricopa County:
Countywide cases: 537,105 (533,368 last Friday); 652 new from the previous day (559 new last Friday)

Deaths: 9,875 (8,813 last Friday); 15 new since the previous day (10 new last Friday)
Fatality rate per 100,000 people: 226.08 (224.67 last Friday)
Number of diagnostic tests conducted: 5,440,940 (5,362,578 last Friday); 14,387 new from the previous day (14,622 last Friday)
Test positivity: 10.9% (11.0% last Friday)
