Williams-Sonoma to set up shop in Glendale’s bustling industrial area

Giant home furnishing retailer will create 2,400 jobs

Williams-Sonoma, Inc., the world’s largest digital-first, design-led and sustainable home furnishings retailer, has leased a 1.25-million-square-foot facility in Glendale.

The facility will be used as a fulfillment and distribution center for all Williams-Sonoma, Inc., brands including Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen, West Elm, and Williams Sonoma. The facility is expected to be operational by this fall and will lead to the creation of more than 2,400 jobs by 2027.

The new facility is located in The Cubes at Glendale at Reems Road and Northern Avenue within the Loop 303 Corridor.

“We are excited to welcome Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s new distribution facility to Glendale,” Sandra Watson, the Arizona Commerce Authority president and CEO shared in a statement. “By expanding its operations to Arizona, Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is creating thousands of jobs, furthering Glendale’s reputation as a robust distribution hub.”

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. will be joining Glendale’s vibrant manufacturing and distribution landscape that includes Nestlé, Ball, Red Bull, Amazon and Mark Anthony Brewing.

Their presence in our city will make a positive impact in the communities we serve with their plans to employ more than 2,400 people.”
