Thirsty Lion Gastropub opening largest Arizona location in Glendale
5th location coming to Westgate in December 2022

Thirsty Lion Gastropub is broadening its footprint with a new location coming to the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale.
The brand will debut the largest Thirsty Lion design in Arizona with a two-story restaurant and rooftop patio complete with indoor/outdoor bar. The gastropub will be located on the corner of West Coyote and Sunset Boulevard, and is set to open doors in December 2022. This will be the fifth Arizona location for Thirsty Lion.
The 9,800 square-foot restaurant will boast a dining room and seating for 400. The interior features an open kitchen concept, a full-service bar, and flat screen TVs to complete the elevated feel of a traditional gastropub. On the second story, guests will have access to an open-air dining experience, plus a large outdoor bar with ample seating for large parties. The 5,251 square-foot downstairs patio will seat 266, the upstairs 1,378 square-foot patio seating for 90.
“Our newest Arizona location reflects the growth we see for the Thirsty Lion brand,” Thirsty Lion Gastropub president and CEO John Plew stated in a news release. “We are thrilled to bring our latest design to the West Valley because it is a thriving area with strong businesses, services and a great community around it.”
Thirsty Lion opened its first Arizona location in 2011. Nine existing restaurants are found across Oregon, Arizona, Colorado and Texas.
