New location near ASU West to open July 21

Posted

Sprouts Farmers Market on Thursday announced it will soon finish construction on its new store at 4201 W. Thunderbird Road in Phoenix, which will replace an existing Glendale location at Peoria and 51st avenues.

The new 25,000-square-foot store will open at 7 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, next door to the Arizona State University West campus.

“Phoenix residents know Sprouts for our assortment of unique, healthy foods, and this new location will help us serve more customers in the growing area around ASU West,” Sprouts Chief Format Officer Dave McGlinchey stated in a news release. “Updated signage and décor throughout the store will make it easier for our customers to find new, innovative and attribute-driven products. We’ll be expanding on our updated design concepts and department layouts further with the new stores we will introduce in 2022.”

The Phoenix store will employ 100 total team members, including 45 new hires.

Sprouts will host a virtual hiring event on June 9 and 10. Those interested in positions at the new Phoenix store should visit sprouts.com/careers to view openings and apply. Employment opportunities include: cashiers, courtesy clerks, department clerks – deli, meat, produce and grocery.
