On Aug, 22 Glendale City Council will hold a session to discuss a plethora of agenda items, those including site plan approvals, amending site plans and a rezoning.
Tomorrow nights session will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Civic Center located at 5750 W. Glenn Dr, in Glendale. You can also watch via a livestream.
One of the agenda items is for the approvel of the Desert River II project. This will be seeking approval toward the Final Plat located at the northwest corner of 99th Avenue and Desert River Boulevard.
The final plat amendment creates six lots with dedication of right-of-way and water/sewer easement to the city, creating a commercial development, according to council docuemnts.
The 24.15-acre development will consist of commercial uses and services.
The next item will be for Clarius Park Glendale Final Plat located at the southwest corner of Olive Avenue and Sarival Avenue.
The final plat hopes to create two lots with dedicated public rights-of-way and water and sewer easements to the city, for a future industrial development.
The development will consist of two buildings totaling 1,760,754 square feet.
The council will also be presented the approvel for the minor generla plan amendment application for a project titled “Residences at Westgate” located east of the northeast corner of 87th Avenue and Glendale Avenue.
If approved the property will develop a thirty-seven unit townhome project which will include attached garages, patios, private rear yards, and common open space with amenities.
The site will take direct access off Glendale Avenue to a gated community which provides circulation through a drive aisle mid-site that ends in a hammer head.
The property is located east of the northeast corner of Glendale Avenue and 87th Avenue and is approximately 2.47 acres in size.
